The Toyota Corolla is a perennial entry on the best-selling cars list. The best-selling car in history, it’s been a practical choice for more than 50 million buyers over more than 55 years.
With a pedigree like that, Toyota doesn’t change it radically from year to year. They refine it in small ways.
For 2026, that includes some new automated driver assistance systems and an improved gauge cluster.
Every 2026 Corolla will come standard with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, Toyota says. That includes Corolla and Corolla Hybrid models.
Every trim level will also get an improved gauge cluster. Lower-end LE and SE grades came with a 4.2-inch screen between the speedometer and tachometer in 2025. They’ll get a larger 7-inch screen for 2026.
The upscale XSE gas-powered and XLE hybrid models come with the 7-inch model in 2025. They will get a 12.3-inch screen in its place for 2026.
