Lincoln Corsair Recalled Over Backup Camera Issue

Lincoln has recalled 41,875 Corsair SUVs from model years 2020-2022 because their backup cameras can become distorted or fail. The recall covers only vehicles with a standard backup camera; those with the optional 360-view camera have not been recalled.

The company blames a faulty seal for the problem, explaining that water can get into the housing. Once there, it corrodes an uninsulated ground wire.

Dealers will replace the camera and its wiring harness with a redesigned part to fix the problem.
